Legal
terms of service.
These apply to every project your company requests from Bolt Playables. They're the same Terms your team accepts in the client portal before your first project.
These Terms apply to every project your company requests from Bolt Playables ("Bolt", "we") through the client portal. If your company has signed a separate NDA or MSA with us, that agreement also applies, and it wins where the two disagree, except for the payment terms in section 3.
1. How we work
Projects are requested, quoted, approved and delivered in writing, through the portal. We don't hold kickoff calls or status meetings. Everything we agree with you is recorded in the portal.
2. Quotes
Each project is quoted individually from your brief. A quote lists what's included (the playable, variations, localizations, networks, revision rounds and turnaround) and is valid for 14 days unless it says otherwise. Work outside a quote is quoted separately as an add-on.
3. Payment
Payment is due in full before work begins. We start a project when its invoice is paid. You can pay by card, ACH or bank transfer, and you can add a PO number to the invoice. Add-ons are invoiced and paid the same way before that work starts.
4. Revisions
Each quote states how many revision rounds are included at each milestone. Further changes are quoted as an add-on.
5. Your materials
You confirm that you have the right to give us the assets, brands and other materials in your brief, and that we can use them to make your project. We keep them confidential and use them only for your project.
6. Ownership
When a project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables we make for it. We keep ownership of our own tools, code libraries and know-how, and grant you a perpetual licence to use any of them that are built into your deliverables. We won't show your project publicly without your written permission.
7. Confidentiality
Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for the work between us.
8. Liability
Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid for it.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may publish a new version of these Terms. A new version applies to projects requested after you accept it.
